Daul Kim

November 19, 2009

is dead.

I can’t believe it. It’s strange to say I’ve miss someone I’ll never met, but she was a special, unique woman.

Her blog is i like to fork myself. She carried a mood of cynicism, realism and lonliness with her but only in the most beautiful sense. I loved watching her interviews because she was in no way the stereotypical image of somehow who is exceptionally bubbly, she was emotional, chill and exuberant – all simueltaneously. It seemed, through her blog posts, as if she were carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. Maybe she was… and that’s the saddest thing, no one will ever know. A beautiful person, inside and out has left us. She was expressive, wrote beautiful poetry, and her writing exuded the feel of a subtle deeper meaning behind every post.
She was Daul… R.I.P. Korean Queen.

    You write beautifully.
This is a beautiful dedication – it sums her up entirely.
